Alfred Paish, William Booth, John Musto, Charles Palmer and William Hinton, boys, were summoned for having assaulted Charlotte Webb. All but Hinton pleaded guilty. There were previous convictions against all but Palmer. He was fined 10s, or seven days’ hard labour, and the other defendants were sent for 10 days’ hard labour each.
